Glenda Ritz – State Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz visited IMSA West during our Teacher Orientation Week. Ritz expressed that she thought schools should get a break if their A-F grades fall because of lower test scores on the new ISTEP exam that was just completed in March and May. She also talked about the one test this year that schools can choose instead of the multiple test in previous years. She expressed her gratitude to all the staff for what the do everyday for our students. Ritz ended the session with a Q & A. She even had the chance to catch up with a former student of hers that is now a staff member at IMSA West. Thank you Glenda Ritz. What an inspiration to us all.
