Dear IMSA West Families,

Welcome to the new school year at Indiana Math and Science Academy West! I am Mr. Atlihan, your principal, and I am excited to lead our amazing school community.

IMSA West continues to set the bar for academic achievement, leading Marion County with outstanding iLEARN proficiency rates and receiving statewide recognition. Notably, our Black students at IMSA West have achieved exceptional Math and English proficiency rates, outperforming every Indiana school district, except one. This remarkable success is a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers, and the unwavering support of our families.

I encourage all families to stay involved in their student's education. Your engagement—whether through volunteering, attending events, or supporting homework—makes a significant difference.

Students, please take advantage of our extracurricular activities, including the CYSP program, sports, and clubs. These opportunities foster leadership, teamwork, and personal growth.
